Shipment Value Protection Fee

We offer an optional "Shipment Value Protection Fee" to provide additional coverage for loss or damage during shipping.

• Fee Structure: The Shipment Value Protection Fee is calculated at 2.5% of the shipment's declared value, up to a maximum coverage of MYR 5,500 per shipment.
• Purchasing the Protection Fee: Customers wishing to purchase the Shipment Value Protection Fee must add the separate product named "Shipment Value Protection Fee" to their cart and ensure it is selected and checked out together with their main order. The price entered for the "Shipment Value Protection Fee" product should be the amount you calculate based on the total price of your selected HVAC materials.

• How to Calculate the Fee: To determine the correct price for the "Shipment Value Protection Fee" product, please follow this calculation:

Shipment Value Protection Fee = Total Price of Products in Your Order × 0.025

For example, if the total price of the HVAC materials you are purchasing is MYR 100, the Shipment Value Protection Fee would be MYR 100 × 0.025 = MYR 2.50.

• Invalid Insurance: Failure to add and checkout the "Shipment Value Protection Fee" product with the main order or any mistaken calculation for the "Shipment Value Protection Fee" will render the insurance cover invalid, and the buyer will not be eligible for a full refund of the product cost in case of loss or damage.
• Maximum Compensation: Even with the Shipment Value Protection Fee, the maximum compensation for loss or damage is capped at MYR 5,500 per shipment. For orders exceeding this value, buyers are encouraged to consider splitting their purchases into separate orders.

Compensation Not Guaranteed: Please note that even when the Shipment Value Protection Fee is paid, the compensation amount for loss or damage is determined by DHL and is not guaranteed to be the exact same as the total amount the buyer paid for the order (excluding the Shipment Value Protection Fee itself).
